The neighbourhood’s essential pho address. For more than 20 years, Pho 13 has served a fragrant, generous broth that draws a queue onto the pavement. A lively, fast-service canteen.
Specialities: Traditional beef pho, bo bun, fresh spring rolls
Arrive before 12:30pm to avoid the lunch queue. The special pho with flank steak and meatballs is the best.
Lao Lane Xang

A direct journey to Southeast Asia. Lao Lane Xang serves authentic Thai and Laotian cuisine with perfectly balanced spicy, sweet and sour flavours.
Specialities: Pad Thai, som tam (papaya salad), larb kai, green curry
Ask for “Thai” spice level for an authentic experience. The terrace is lovely in summer.

Two rooms, two atmospheres: a takeaway counter and a restaurant for dim sum and grilled dishes. Tricotin is a 13th-arrondissement institution, renowned for its steamed dumplings.

The 13th’s miso ramen specialist. Long-simmered broths, fresh noodles and generous toppings. The atmosphere recalls Tokyo ramen-ya.
Specialities: Miso ramen, spicy tantanmen, homemade gyoza, karaage
The spicy tantanmen is a must. Add a soft-boiled egg for €1 extra.
Sinorama

Traditional Cantonese cooking in a welcoming setting. Dishes are prepared in the wok in front of you and portions are made for sharing. Ideal for groups.
Specialities: Cashew chicken, ginger beef, steamed fish, Cantonese fried rice
